What is it made of?
It is made from food-grade materials with safety as a priority:
- Glass bottle: BPA-free, heat-resistant glass construction (16 oz/470ml capacity)
- Plastic components: BPA-free, lightweight, food-grade plastic for the lid, handle, & spray lever
- Metal parts: Stainless steel pouring spout
- Sealing components: Built-in rubber sealing ring to prevent leaks & maintain freshness
What kind of oils can be used?
It works great with many oils including-
- Olive oil (most popular choice)
- Avocado oil
- Vegetable oil
- Canola oil
- Peanut oil
- Corn oil
It can also be used with other liquid ingredients such as vinegar, soy sauce, lemon juice, or even wine!
keep in mind that very thick or cold oils may produce a denser spray. For the best "cloud-like" mist, thin-viscosity oils like Extra Virgin Olive Oil at room temperature work best.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The glass bottle is 100% dishwasher safe. However, to protect the nozzle, cap & sealing ring, we recommend hand-washing the lid/pump with warm, soapy water.
How do I clean the internal filter?
Simply flush the pump with warm water & a drop of dish soap, followed by a clear water rinse. The built-in filter keeps particles out, so you shouldn't need to manually scrub it.
Why is my sprayer producing a stream instead of a mist?
The type of spray can be manipulated by how the lever is pressed, it's all in the speed!
For a fine, wide mist, give the trigger a quick, firm press. A slower, softer press will result in a steady stream for precise spraying or drizzling.
Pro tip: On your first use, prime the pump by pressing the trigger 5–10 times to clear out any air.
